On a flight from Atlanta, Georgia, to Los Angeles, California, Delta allows you one free carry-on bag, one free carry-on "personal item" such as a purse, camera, brief case or laptop - and every little thing more than that has a fee. Even a day planner or a wheel chair is considered to be a "personal item." If you try to take an additional bag as your personal item, this will be disallowed. A second bag is not viewed as a "personal item."

Knowing what the restrictions are requires investigating not only the airline you will be traveling with, but also the particular flight you will be taking because the restrictions change from flight to flight. They are so variable that you need to be either a computer genius at finding out what the restrictions are or a very dedicated travel veteran to understand and prepare for every eventuality -- and the expense can be staggering.

The fees for your checked bags will be reduced by two or three dollars if you pay the baggage fees when you order your ticket online. Otherwise, you get charged an additional two or three dollar fee at the check-in counter. The fees for checked bags range anywhere from twenty-five dollars for the first bag, to thirty-two dollars for the second bag, one hundred twenty-five dollars for a third bag and any additional bags are charged two hundred dollars each, up to ten bags, which is the maximum number of bags you can take. Those fees are all added up individually, so if you want to check three bags you will pay an additional one hundred and eighty-two dollars.

The airline will also charge extra if the bag is larger than their restrictions and they charge extra if the bag weighs more than their restrictions. Did you know that these fees are charged "each way," too? So for one round trip, three checked bags, can add three hundred and sixty-four dollars to your travel expenses. They really get you both coming and going.

Frontier Airlines fees are slightly smaller but not really so as you would notice. Jetblue does allow one free checked bag, so there is a money saver, but to avoid all these fees, pack small, pack light, and carry it on. Check the website of your airline to get the most current and most specific information about luggage for your flight. But there is an even better solution than this.

It is both cheaper and simpler to ship a couple of boxes or bags via UPS, Fedex, or USPS overnight than to check it at the airport as luggage, especially if you are staying with family or friends at your destination -- and especially if you need to conserve funds. Here is the scenario: You do your packing without worrying about the size and weight of anything -- except your one free carry-on piece. Make sure your carry-on bag fits the airline criterion or it will not be free. For the items you are shipping, if you can easily carry it, it will probably cost much less to ship, than the nearly sixty dollars charged for checking just two bags at the airport. Then a day or two before you leave, ship off the big stuff and be done with it.

I recommend that you make your free personal item a luggage cart for use at your destination. By shipping your other stuff overnight, you have just saved yourself not only time and hassle as you travel but also a big bunch of money at the airport. You will have very few items to be inspected by airport security which saves time and hassle, too. You will also have most definitely saved yourself quite a few bucks which you can now spend on vacation attractions instead of on sticky luggage fees.

If you are staying at a hotel, call and ask if you can ship a package and how to address it. Do not forget to ask if they charge a fee for this and how much it is. You will also need to find out where to pick it up when you get there. Then be careful to ship your stuff in time to arrive before you arrive. That will save the hassle and the cost of all those airline restrictions. When you get to your destination you will need a convenient way to manage your stuff, which is where your handy well made steel luggage cart comes into play.

With a fold up luggage cart, which you can carry-on as your "personal item" or include in one of the boxes you ship, you will have all you need to handle the other boxes or bags when you arrive at your hotel, or your uncle's place. It is very simple to unfold your personal luggage cart, load up your boxes or bags and be on your way, that you will wonder why you did not do this years ago.

Why limit yourself? You can easily ship all the full size personal care items you need so you also save the hassle and time of putting a little of each liquid into those separate tiny little bottles and labeling all that. You also will be able to take every business item required to do your job with a very small amount of planning and effort -- and most importantly, with minimal expense to you. Life is way too short to do things the hard way or to waste money by letting the airlines stiff you. Shipping separately lets you put your hard earned cash to a much better use. You can also insure your packages if you feel you need to, or register them to make sure they arrive. It will, of course, be cheaper to simply ship them. You can use UPS, Fedex, or the United States Postal Service which ever one you trust the most, or costs the least.

With a little planning and preparation you can make your trip cheaper and more manageable. You will also feel more comfortable and prepared when you get to where you are going because you will have all the things you need to either get the job done or to participate fully in the sports or events planned for your vacation -- without buying extra stuff at your destination. Do not forget your luggage cart which makes toting your stuff so much more efficient at your destination.

 Happy traveling!

The Versatile Luggage Cart: Hand Truck Out of Sight

The Versatile Luggage Cart: Hand Truck Out of Sight

Hand Truck Out of Sight

Hand Truck in View -- I have a friend that I do Bible study with and I was standing in her kitchen as we chit chatted before our study began. I happened to look out the window to her enclosed back porch and noticed a gigantic hand truck standing there. It was a massive, industrial, heavy duty, hand truck that converted into a platform truck, too. It was really impressive and when it was in use I bet it could move four hundred pounds of stuff around with ease. That is, “when it is in use.” When it is not in use, as in “the rest of the time,” it stood like a dinosaur in the middle of the porch blocking the pathway to both the kitchen and the outside.

This is the problem for the regular home owner or small business owner who, from time to time, needs a heavy duty hand truck to be within reach. If you work in say, an attorney’s office, and need to take three or four cardboard file boxes full of heavy papers to the court house two or three times a week, you need an efficient way to do that, but those massive industrial hand trucks certainly won't fit in a sedan. You cannot leave a massive industrial hand truck standing in the aisle of a court room, either. That is why I recommend a fold up hand truck like the ones at BestLuggageCarts.com which you can collapse and stow out of sight in your car or under your desk until you need it again.

The real advantage of our Norris brand folding hand trucks is that they also will carry up to four hundred pounds with ease, but when they are not in use, which is probably ninety-five percent of the time, they don’t have to become either an eyesore standing out somewhere in full view of visitors and customers, or a piece of clutter in a room of your home, office, or garage. They literally, in one single, easy-squeeze, telescoping motion, fold up to the size of a carry-on bag which can be stowed neatly under your desk or away in a closet without taking up all the room in the closet, too.

Check out the #700 folding hand truck at bestluggagecarts.com which has a four-hundred-pound carrying capacity. It is a professional grade, extra heavy duty, steel, hand truck with stair glides, that collapses into a small package when it is not in use. It can be stowed in an "out of the way" nook in the garage or closeted in the back room so it is not an eyesore when it is not in use. It has a sixteen-and-a-half-inch-wide wheel base and really will carry up to a massive four hundred pounds which makes it a work horse, when you need it, that can be put out of sight when you do not.

The #700 has a beautiful, smart chrome finish, large six-inch wheels with steel hubs and precision ball bearings for a whisper quiet ride and it comes with a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer so you are covered for the rest of your life -- at no additional charge. You really cannot beat that for beauty, trustworthiness, convenience, and durability all rolled into one well made folding hand truck.

There are two others, the #710 and the #730, which come with either an extra set of wheels to support the load and ease your shoulders and back (#710), or the extra wheels plus an additional detachable upper deck shelf (#730) to use as a handy work platform when you don’t have a desk or table handy. Every one of them will carry up to four hundred pounds and then conveniently fold up to be put somewhere out of sight. There when you need it – out of sight when you don’t.

Visit the catalog page of www.BestLuggageCarts.com and see if we have a folding hand truck that fits your needs.

Take the load off your back, and put it on big wheels!

There are many places to purchase luggage carts but if you want to know how to use one or how to choose one check out the FAQs and Articles for hints, tips, and valuable luggage cart information at www.bestluggagecarts.com.

If you have one with a Norris Brand Limited Lifetime Warranty and need to get it fixed, just go to www.bestluggagecarts.com and choose "Feedback" to send us an e-mail. We'll give you all the information you need to get warranty service directly from the manufacturer.

And while you are there, check out our available Luggage Carts to see if you'd like to upgrade to one with 80- to 400-pounds of capacity

If you need instructions on how to easily take your big wheeled cart up and down curbs or stairs, then go to our ARTICLES page and click on: The Best Techniques for Going Up and Down Stairs

There is an Easier Way!!

As I drove down the road today I noticed a small woman struggling on the side of the road with a huge suit case with tiny little wheels. She was walking past a construction site where the sidewalks had been temporarily removed and all she had to walk on was loose dirt and rocks. I thought to myself that if she had a luggage cart with big six-inch wheels instead of that bag with the tiny little wheels, she would be moving along a lot faster and struggling a whole lot less.

Those suit cases with wheels that everyone thinks are a so wonderful actually are wonderful if there are no obstacles to go around, or rough patches to go over, or unexpected detours to take. The roads we walk do have rough patches and obstacles and unexpected things and the best way to get through them is with a versatile well made steel luggage cart like the ones found at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com

If you think a luggage cart is obsolete, I hope you give them another think. All through the ages people have put their belongings on carts with big wheels. Did you ever wonder why? Those big wheels make it easier to circumnavigate life's highways and byways. Our ancestors knew it. Those big wheels are tried and true, tested and proved to be the best solution to carrying a load that has ever been invented for the person who walks from one place to another for any reason. There really is no need to reinvent the wheel.

The luggage manufacturers are still putting those tiny little wheels on their bags and people buy them without thinking. They see the little wheels and think, "Yes, that is what I need. It is what I see every one else using. Now I can make taking my bag so much easier." But they have not put their mind to really thinking about this matter. Or perhaps it is simply inexperience. If you have ever tugged and pulled and sweated and struggled to pull a heavy bag with tiny little wheels over gravel or uneven surfaces, or up a curb or a flight of stairs, you will greatly appreciate the massive difference that the large six-inch wheels of a truly well-made steel luggage cart will offer you. It's like a dream come true. Really.

Those large wheels actually do make a very big difference. They turn on a time, roll smoothly up and down stairs and curbs, travel over rough terrain more easily, and don't make any "clackity clackity" noises over tiled floors or cobble stones. You really ought to give a luggage cart a try.

If you prefer your cart to come with a limited lifetime warranty which covers every single metal part of the cart (not the straps, cords, or wheels which wear out over time) by a manufacturer that is good to their word, then visit http://www.bestluggagecarts.com and see if we have one to fit your needs.

Check it out. What have you got to lose? Why? They stabilize the load. What does that actually mean?

The answer to that question was brought home to me by my elderly neighbor who was sharing with me that she used to use a travel luggage cart with two wheels but the weight of the load had started to hurt her wrist. The problem was that her wrists are weaker now and the weight of the load being shared between the large wheels of her cart and her hand was too much for her anymore. Her solution to the problem was to get a cart with four wheels which she easily pushes around because the weight of the load was no longer on her wrist but was squarely on those four wheels. That extra set of wheels was bearing the upper portion of the load for her, so her life was made easier by reducing her pain while letting her continue to do the things she likes to do.

That is why the two extra wheels are on utility carts that have a larger capacity. They distribute the heavier load onto the wheels and off of your body which makes it much easier for you to transport the load. Luggage cart number 450 which carries 250 pounds, and the numbers 710 and 730 which carry 400 pounds each are specifically engineered to not only carry a larger than average load, but to also make it easier to carry that heavier load by further reducing the strain on your body, which is the main purpose of those extra little wheels.

There are also some other advantages to having those two extra little wheels. As you use your cart you will notice that now you don't have to make the luggage cart stand up in order to make a momentary stop while you are in transit. Now, you can simply stop and let go your grip of the load without first standing it up as you must with a two-wheeled cart. The cart will stand in the proper travel position all on its own while you buy a snack or get your tickets out of your pocket or talk to the agent and sign papers. So not only is the load easier to transport, but it is easier to start and stop, too. When it is time to resume your travel pace, you just grab hold again, and pull, without having to first tilt the cart into the moving position. This saves some of the hassle as you wait to board the train or bus or plane, too. You sit down with the cart standing next to you on its own. When it is time to board, you can quickly stand up, and pull, and be on your way in an instant.

Those two extra wheels are also engineered to be "click and go" which means that you can easily click them up and away or down into traveling position, with your foot, by tapping the mechanism that is built into the cart. They move up or down on their own with a simple tap of your foot. The extra click and go wheels actually make your cart even more versatile because you can use it as either a two-wheeled or a four-wheeled luggage cart as you choose. It is like having two different carts with two different uses all in one.

The click and go wheels make going up and down stairs much easier, too, because the extra wheels would definitely be in the way as you tried to go up or down a curb or stairs. The click and go wheels quickly and easily fold away whenever you need to make the change which allows you to go up and down curbs and stairs on a moments notice with hardly a change in pace. It is just as easy to resume on the other side, too, because they click back down into place again when you have finished your climb and you are once again on flat terrain.

If the terrain you have to cross is rough or uneven, such as a gravel parking lot, those little wheels may actually become a hindrance to your progress, so you simply click them up and away and continue across the gravel lot on the large six-inch wheels that are easier to maneuver on uneven terrain. When you again reach an even surface, such as pavement or hard packed dirt, you easily click them down again and continue on your way.

As you can see the extra wheels are very handy and useful under many different situations. When the load is extra heavy, then they make transporting the load easier. If you happen to have weak or injured wrists, hands, or shoulders the extra wheels make it possible for you to carry the stuff you need without adding pain to your task. They easily move out of the way, when you don't need them, such as climbing curbs or stairs, or crossing rough terrain. You have the option of using your luggage cart as a two-wheeled or four-wheeled cart to match every situation you might come across. I think they are the perfect solution to make taking your stuff with you a whole lot easier. Happy traveling!

Marcia McCance, Manager, of MRM Global Solutions, LLC
http://www.bestluggagecarts.com

Take a load off your back, and put it on wheels!

There are many places to purchase luggage carts but if you want to know how to use one, how to choose one, or if you have one with a Norris Brand Limited Lifetime Warranty and need to get it fixed, just go to our website, choose "contact us" and send us an e-mail. If you are going on an overnighter and only need one bag – a bag with wheels seems like it would be the most efficient choice, and for some, it actually is. But my personal preference, even in this situation, is to put that bag with wheels on a luggage cart and here is why.

We very rarely, if ever, actually go anywhere with only one bag. There are always other little things that you "just have to have." Consider your brief case full of necessary papers. You suddenly now have two bags. That would be two bags for a man, and possibly three for a woman who often carries a purse, too. Do you ever take along a little lunch in the car or on the train? Ever carry a sweater for the unexpected blasts of cold air on a plane? That could now be three or four separate items you are taking along with your "one bag." That is getting to be a lot to "juggle and struggle" with while you are away from home on your own.

And anyone might want to have their laptop with them on the trip. There is business to take care of, people to communicate with, and stuff to do on your laptop that needs to get done. We're now up to four or five items. The best way to tote all that stuff is on a sturdy well-made luggage cart. You can stack it up, fasten it on, and completely eliminate the "juggle and struggle" associated with hauling many small items with you at once.

And don't forget those items you are going to purchase and bring back with you. They might fit in the bag. Or they might not. If you've got a luggage cart, it doesn't matter. It will very likely all fit on the cart with ease.

Are there any other reasons that you might need both a bag with wheels and a luggage cart, too? Why yes. If you happen to be one of those people who is always running late and in a rush, I highly recommend that you put that bag with it's tiny little wheels on a luggage cart with big wheels so you can run faster with less drag on your arm, and go around corners, over curbs and up and down stairs without having to actually stop and pick up the bag with wheels.

The whole reason behind a bag with wheels is SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO PICK THE BAG UP AND STRAIN YOUR BACK! You'd like to just roll it along behind you, but every time you come to an obstacle you have to determine whether you need to pick up the bag, or if it can make it through. A luggage cart with big wheels actually can be rolled over curbs, and up and down stairs without having to pick your stuff up and lug it. You'll very likely scratch or dent your bag with tiny wheels on curbs and stairs because it wasn't made for that kind of a very common obstacle – but a luggage cart with big wheels has been engineered for that purpose. You have more leverage and turning capacity with the large six-inch wheels of a luggage cart.

The big wheels of a luggage cart give you the speed you need to both hurry along and maneuver the course. Check it out for yourself and you will see the big difference it makes. And if your luggage cart has been purchased from http://www.bestluggagecarts.com it will also have steel ball bearings for a whisper quite ride, sturdy steel construction with aluminum telescoping handles and a limited lifetime warranty.

So, in what situation do I recommend using the bag with wheels? When you are in your hotel room. As you take it off your cart you can still wheel it around that nice flat floor which is what those tiny wheels are actually good for. And you can take it with you into the bath room. And you can wheel it into the closet and out of sight right next to your luggage cart. Then in the morning you can load it all back up on the luggage cart and be on your busy fun filled way.

In my estimation, a bag with wheels is meant for the room, but a luggage cart is meant for the world.

We'll give you all the information you need to get warranty service from the manufacturer. And while you are there, check out our available Luggage Carts to see if you'd like to upgrade to one with more capacity or get one for your son or daughter to carry all those books to school. If you travel by train, cruise ship, plane, car or pick up truck, but, hate to lug the luggage, then you should treat yourself to a well-made folding luggage cart. Here are eight simple luggage-cart and travel-related suggestions that will add efficiency and a little more security to handling and monitoring your possessions as you travel.

1. Attach a luggage tag to your luggage cart, then you can check it at the airport, and if it happens to get separated from your luggage you can identify it. (Airport security is also used to checking them because so many smart travelers are using luggage carts nowadays.)

2. You know all those free pre-printed address labels you get in the mail? You can use them on your luggage tags. That way security can read it, rather than trying to read hand writing. Just paste it on the lines of the paper card that comes with the tag and tuck it back inside. Since it is small it will also be fully visible in the tag window. And, since it is small, it is harder for "nosey pokes" to read it from far away, too.

3. You can also paste a return address label on the bottom of the platform of your luggage cart where it will not be noticeable and there will be no "wear and tear" on the label. That way, if the tag comes off, it is still identifiable. Those labels stick really well to metal. If you also cover it with clear nail polish it will be nearly indestructible and water proof, too – nail polish does not come off of metal objects like it does on a living, breathing, moving finger nail. I put a dot of pink nail polish on a metal ruler about 23 years ago so I could tell mine from the identical ones the men I worked with were using. It is still on there.

4. And while I'm thinking of it, you can paste return address labels in many hidden places inside your luggage and purse (on the backside of pocket flaps or metal rims – even inside the plastic zip-lock bag that holds your "liquids"). You never know when these little identifiers may come in very handy, such as if you get separated from your luggage or purse or "liquids" for a period of time – like on the other side of the x-ray machine at the security check point. If it's got your name and address on it, you can quickly prove ownership and identify your stuff much faster.

5. Get a small bungee cord or two from your local hardware store to keep the load on your luggage trolley from shifting – in case you have to go round corners on a run. If you make sure the load is secure on the cart, by criss-crossing them, nothing should shift or fall off. You can also fasten a bungee cord around the cart to keep it closed when it is not in use. All the luggage carts at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com come with one elastic strap or cord, depending on the model, and they will hold your load in place. But I like to use a couple more so I can criss-cross and really tie that load on securely.

6. An additional short bungee cord or length of one-inch-wide satan ribbon or rope will keep your folded winter coat fastened to your cart. If you live in "Winter Wonderland" and vacation in "Tropical Paradise," you will need your coat when you get back to the cold and bluster, but you don't need to be burdened with carrying and monitoring it in the tropics. They are usually too bulky to pack – so just attach it to the cart. Security will want to run your coat through the x-ray machine, too, so make sure you don't use a hard-to-untie knot if you choose ribbon or rope instead of a very small bungee cord. If you tie it with a bow like you tie your shoe laces, that will come undone quickly and tie back up easily, also.

7. Do not fasten your purse to the luggage cart. You can still carry it on the cart, by resting it on top with your hand, holding both the strap of the purse and the handle on the cart at the same time. Then the cart will carry the load, but you will still have quick access to your tickets, papers, and valuables when you need them. Also, if you stop for a while and need to wait, your unattended purse on the cart will not be a temptation to the easily tempted, if you happen to be facing the other way for a moment. Keep your purse next to you or on your lap while waiting.

8. Lock your bags. Locking your bags will accomplish two things: One it may keep a bag that has been damaged in transit from spilling open accidentally; and two, it prevents, or at least slows down, pilfering during transit. But, you need to know that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will be inspecting your checked bags and have the authority to cut off any lock that they cannot open. You can find out more about TSA accessible bags and locks on the LINKS page at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com!.

A luggage cart, like the ones found at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com! really will make managing your luggage a whole lot easier and using the above suggestions will make monitoring your travel possessions easier and just a little safer, too. At the end of the day, you might be wonderfully tired from the fun of traveling, but you won't be totally worn out from dealing with your luggage. Especially if you are on a family vacation with small children who cannot carry their own suit cases and diaper bags and all that other baby paraphernalia which they also cannot travel without. A luggage cart takes the "juggle and struggle" out of managing your bag and baggage.

There is only one thing better than traveling with a luggage cart and that would be to hire someone else to follow you around and handle the luggage for you. But, of course you'd have to buy them a ticket, pay for their hotel room, and feed them, so a luggage cart is astronomically cheaper – and a luggage cart won't complain about the accommodations, talk back, or need to go to the rest room when you are in a hurry.

Speaking of a person to handle the luggage... in many families this ends up being the husband and father who always gets stuck with handling the luggage because the men in the family are blessed with so much more muscle, strength, and ability for the job. Give your husband the treat and buy him a luggage cart! He might just buy you diamonds, since you've made his travel life so much more care free!! LOL

All in all, a luggage cart, like the ones found at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com will be a real asset because of the convenience, the ease and the just plain usefulness as you travel. Give yourself a treat, and put your load on wheels! My vote is for large six-inch wheels like the ones at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com

Small two-inch or three-inch wheels on a luggage cart for a child or small adult may be perfectly adequate and also implies that the load will not be extremely large. But if you are an average-sized adult or intend to carry many pounds of stuff on your cart you really should look for a well-made utility cart that has at least six-inch wheels with ball bearings and rubber tires, too.

There is no rule that says a child or small adult should not use large wheels with ball bearings either – and now that I think about it, is there any reason that a child or small adult should not have all the advantages of six-inch wheels too? None that I can think of. So there is my vote: big wheels are better for all sizes of people. And here is why:

The first advantage to big six-inch wheels on a luggage cart is maneuverability. With the small built-in wheels usually found on a piece of baggage or on a small-wheeled cart, when you attempt to go over a curb you actually have to stop, pick the bag or cart up, position the wheels back on the pavement, face the direction of travel once more and then proceed.

But when you approach a curb with a big-wheeled utility cart you just step up, roll the cart up the wall of the curb and keep going. The rolling action takes place by letting the large six-inch wheels roll up next to the curb as you walk and then giving slightly more pull to roll it up the side. It is a very smooth natural action. You barely even have to pause and you do not have to turn around and look. You can feel it rolling up the curb. When you are in a rush this is a time saver. Of course if your load is extremely heavy or tall you really should slow down a little and carefully roll the load up. Remember: safety first – the back you save may be your own.

The second advantage to big six-inch wheels on a luggage cart is less "clackity clackity." If your cart or bag has small wheels, especially if they are made of plastic and do not have rubber tires, you get a whole lot of "clackity clackity" as you walk along, particularly on a tiled floor, brick pavement, or cobble stones. And the faster you go, the louder it gets. Each repetitive bump on a plastic wheel promotes cracking – meaning that at some point that wheel is going to splinter apart and fall off.

Aside from all that "clackity clackity" being very annoying to yourself and passersby, it will drowned out the voice of your travel companion as you walk along trying to converse about the scenery or making plans. You cannot hear yourself think! But, if you have a well-made luggage cart with six-inch wheels, rubber tires and precision ball bearings it will barely whisper as you go along. Since there is almost no noise at all, it becomes a "non-issue."

And the smooth noiseless ride of precision ball bearings rarely, if ever, squeak like plastic wheels or hubs can! Two birds with one stone! And if, in about five years, your ball bearings do happen to squeak, a little machine oil will remove it for a few more years. Whereas if you oil a squeaky wheel that does not have ball bearings, that can be an every-day chore because the squeak never really goes away permanently.

The third advantage to big six-inch wheels on a luggage cart is speed. Small wheels actually put drag on your walking speed, especially if they are plastic, or have plastic or metal hubs without ball bearings. And especially on rough pavement. But large wheels with ball bearings do not slow you down one bit. Precision ball bearings also put less "pull" or "strain" on your arm and shoulder because the action of the ball bearings makes the wheel turn much more smoothly. The turn of the wheel is efficiently assisted by the engineering of the ball bearings, thus less strain on you.

Three very good reasons to look for big six-inch wheels with precision ball bearings and rubber tires on the luggage dolly you purchase: better maneuverability, no annoying repetitive noise, and faster speed with less body strain. What comes to my mind is the old saying: "use the right tool, for the right job." The right job for a luggage cart is to allow a human being who is walking some distance to take a heavy load with them, while removing the weight of the load from the human back and shoulders, and placing it on the wheeled cart.

This is an age-old solution, to a common human situation, and obviously removes strain from the back which is no longer carrying the load.

And luggage carts are cool! Have you not ever envied the travelers streaming past you with one well-packed luggage cart while you juggled and struggled with bags hanging off every corner of your body and slowing you down? That "juggle and struggle" is where the back pain comes from. Don't deal with it any longer. Be smart. Get a luggage cart. http://www.bestluggagecarts.com

A luggage cart can be pushed or pulled, and oddly enough, those same experts say it is easier on the back if a load is pushed rather than pulled. They say this is because more of the leg muscles are used when a cart is pushed.

But, to me, this is awkward and would take me some getting used to, since I have been pulling my luggage cart for years as a tag-along-behind device. You can decide how you are going to use your cart and, whether you push it or pull it, the luggage cart will still be carrying the load for you, which, in my mind, certainly saves the back.

When you are loading or unloading your utility cart remember to face your load square on. Do not twist or turn the back at the same time that you lift because this double motion is the most dangerous to the spine. Be safe. Lift, then turn with your feet. Do not lift with your back at all, lift with your legs.

If you are careful of your own body, you will be the ingredient preventing injuries, but a folding luggage cart will surely "take a load off" -- and that has got to be good! Try it for yourself, and you will see the big difference it makes to put the bag and baggage you have to carry on a sturdy well-made big-wheeled luggage cart.

If you decide to purchase a luggage cart to take some of the strain off your body as you travel or work, search for one with a limited lifetime warranty, too like the ones at http://www.bestluggagecarts.com

Make sure you get a finely engineered device made for rugged daily use. One whose base and frame are constructed of sturdy steel tubing with the added benefit of light-weight aluminum telescoping handles. In addition, you should look for the smooth noiseless ride of ball bearings on six-inch wheels that simply roll up and down curbs without a hitch. I remember rushing in a huge airport pulling two bags with tiny clackity clackity wheels along behind me as I shouldered another bag on a long strap. I recall the anxiety of trying to get to the plane when one of those nice little bags with the itsy-bitsy noisy wheels, tipped over for no apparent reason. So I stopped, put my shoulder bag on the floor, bent over, put the tipsy bag back on its little wheels, picked up the shoulder bag and got a move on. But, it happened again in about ten paces.

When it starts doing that, you're a "goner" – it's going to keep happening because something is wrong. But you're at the airport, you don't have any way, or enough time, to fix the darn thing, and suddenly the special bag with wheels that was supposed to make your travels easier is now making it harder and adding frustration to what is supposed to be "the time of your life" -- before it even begins!

Why not put the fun back into travel by solving the entire baggage problem with one sturdy well-made steel luggage cart? All three of those bags will fit on one cart, so you free up a hand -- and a shoulder. That, alone, will make you feel lighter on your feet and give you a more fun and relaxed outlook!

So if you like to travel, but hate to hassle with the luggage, then maybe you should investigate luggage carts. You can find them in any price range but, even luggage carts, are not all "equal." If you have wisely shopped and purchased a quality folding steel luggage cart with a limited lifetime warranty from http://www.bestluggagecarts.com , you will also have purchased a utility cart that has been engineered for rugged daily use – whose base and frame are constructed of sturdy steel tubing with the added benefit of light-weight aluminum telescoping handles.

In addition, with a well-made luggage cart you have the smooth noiseless ride of precision ball bearings on large six-inch wheels that simply roll up and down curbs without a hitch. You'll never waste money on a bag with tiny clackity clackity wheels again because you'll be the owner of a quality steel luggage cart with large quiet wheels that will carry all your personal luggage – and fit in the overhead compartment, too.

Not all travel takes place on airplanes, some folks travel by train or cruise ship or even in the family car. With a folding luggage cart you can load up the car with bag and baggage and tuck the folded up luggage cart into the trunk between the bags, too. It will be out of the way until you need to move all the bags at once again at another destination. You can load and unload anywhere! You will have the right tool for the job right at your fingertips. How convenient!

And with a limited lifetime warranty, you don't have to worry about repairs, they are part of the package! Check out http://www.bestluggagecarts.com and see our wide variety of styles, prices, and capacities – I think you might find just the one you need – and without any hassle.
